Another two hours went by before Tania placed the final pot of soup on the stove. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw the scrumptious dishes that she had prepared on the kitchen countertop. She was excited to be praised for her skills, and she hastily brought empty bowls out to set up the dining table.
She had just arranged all the dishes when Alexander came back home. With a broad grin on her face, Tania let out a loud cry. "You're back, Mr. Griffith! It's time for dinner!" Alexander walked in after hearing her and took a look at the dishes. He wore a blank look on his face, but he raised an eyebrow when he saw Tania standing by the table. "Who told you to do this?" he asked heartlessly.
