Chapter 239

Sofia’s POV Today has been a long day and I had been really bored at a certain point around noon. It got to a point whereby I didn’t feel like painting anymore and just resulted in reading one of my new books right there in the middle of our bedroom upstairs. I managed to convinced Ryan into taking me to the garden at the back of the house and this time, he had tried to refuse adamantly but I didn’t back down one bit because I knew there was no way he was going to be able to call Luca and inform him about the new development, seeing as there was some things which I sometimes kept from Luca for him, and vise versa. I also knew there wasn’t any way that he’d be able to force me into following his order or trying to physically restrain me, which was why I was able to ignore him and kept on walking to the corner that led around the house until as expected, he had come forward to fall into step beside me after a couple of seconds.
