Chapter 40 Bloodstained Jasmine Part 1

Greenwood was located less than a hundred and fifty miles West from Cloud City. Although it was rather out of the way, geographically speaking, the population was pretty dense. There were travelers passing by on occasion as it was the only passageway from Cloud City to New Moon City. The blazing sun charred the earth’s surface, drawing cracks along the terrane. It was the type of weather that brought the crankiness out of people. A group of six strolled along the street of Greenwood. The leader of the pack, burly in build with mean looks and eyes to match, was cladded in white lightweight armor and shouldered a five-foot-long bronze machete. The two men behind the leader were dressed in animal hide and armed with weapons like knives, swords, and hammers.
