Allen was looking at Courtney. She was calm, unlike the passionate doctor from earlier. Her overly-rational decision was not something someone her age could usually come to. "It's hard to believe you'd make that decision." He took his glasses off, and the hall heard it clang against the table through the mic.
While Allen was massaging his forehead, the earlier doctor stood up and retorted, "There's a possibility to save both of them if we operated on them at the same time. Even if something unexpected happens, it's better than leaving one patient to die, right?" The doctor was being hostile. He could see that Allen was bothered, so he wanted to take this chance to stand out more. I'll be the champion this way.
