Eryn POV The morning comes too soon. The light shines through the window like a thief coming to take Atticus from me. I close my eyes tightly, trying to block out the rays, silently begging for a few more hours with my mate. Atticus is already stirring beside me, and I know our time together is limited. Why did I have to do the noble thing and agree to stay behind? For once in my life, I want to be selfish. I want to put myself first.
