Bradley lowered his head to think about it. His father had a point; if he didn’t go to the city, then he would have to put up with his mother’s matchmaking attempts tomorrow. Matchmaking was a sore spot for him; fear would immediately rise up within him at the mere mention of it. He didn’t have time to spare on those women and their looks of revulsion.
“Got it. I’ll head out to the city tomorrow. I’ve got things to do there anyway,” he acquiesced.
