Chapter 419 The Truth

My heart lurched at how ferocious he looked one minute, then looking lost in the next. He had seemed so enraged as though he wanted me dead earlier that I couldn't believe those words had come out of his mouth. He said he loved me so much that it had seeped into his skin and carved into his bones. I didn't trust it one bit. After all, he wouldn't have abandoned me if he loved me to that extent. At the end of the day, he simply didn't love me enough.
