It was half past ten when she was getting ready to leave. Her parents thought she was sleeping over at a friend's house so she didn’t have to get home at a specific time, but after everything that happened, if she wasn’t going to hang out with Anna then parties like these weren’t that much fun anymore. She sure as hell wasn’t going to have another drink. So she put on her jacket and was about to leave when suddenly Anna snuck up behind her. “All that effort to track me down and you’re just going to leave without even saying hello?” She asked, quietly enough that no one else would be able to hear her over the sound of the music.
Ivy spun to face the speaker even as her cheeks flushed at the accusation. “I don’t know—”
