Alex Fuller had intentionally left two empty seats at the dining table for Naomi and Adam, but one of the seats was currently taken by none other than Skylar Stone. Hailing from a pedigree family, Adam was most likely a prideful man who would not stand being robbed of something that belonged to him. Everyone else in the room but Adam knew Skylar had committed an unspoken crime. As he surveyed the room, Adam noticed everyone had gotten up to greet him, save for the man next to Naomi who was still seated at his place.
