" The car is ready ma'am! " Ben yelled from downstairs and the sound floated freely across the hallway to her because the house was silent so his voice echoed. She took a deep breath, getting ready mentally to shout back. " I'm coming please! " She yelled back. Quickly, she arranged her disarrayed hair and ran some lipgloss over her lips before going out. She prayed the light headache would subside before she got to the hospital.
