Daniel wipes away her tears as Gabe puts creamer and sugar in a mug of coffee before he hands it to Hunter and to my surprise she doesn’t hand it back after the first sip. “I watched her last night and this morning as she made her coffee.” Gabe explains to me. We drink our coffee in silence and I wonder what it is Daniel thinks he needs to clarify for us. Hunter has a small smile on her face as she drinks her coffee and I can feel that both she and Daniel are happy and content. I always wondered why I was able to feel Hunter’s emotions, but I never had anyone around that could tell me anything about her Lycan or how certain things work for a Lycan.
