Magnus had been hunched over for ages, scribbling odd patterns on pieces of paper. He'd often direct Quintus to tweak the helicopter's path, sometimes flying so low they almost skimmed the lake's surface. After nearly thirty minutes of back-and-forth, just as frustration set in, Magnus finally pieced together the dozen patterns he'd drawn.
With a satisfied grin, he announced, "Alright, I think I've got it. There's something hidden deep down in this lake!"
