Hugo let out a sigh before he turned around and walked toward his car. Once he got into his car, he glanced in the direction of the woman who was standing in the wind and staring at him. He felt his heart clenching at the sight of the woman's frail and weak figure. What am I doing? I keep telling myself to forget her, yet I keep getting involved with her. Damn it. Hugo cursed at himself before he drove off. Celia stood in the wind for a while. When she next returned to her senses, her eyes were already filled with tears. The thought of the child all those years ago made her heart ache really badly! She wiped her tears off as she thought, How am I going to show up at the proposal looking like this? She headed in the direction of the main street and hailed a cab before she gave Bryce a call. "Hey, Celia… Are you guys done talking?" Bryce asked. "I'm sorry, Mr. Zamora. I can't accept your proposal. I'll have to head home now." Celia ended the call after completing her statement. She didn't want to pick up the call when Bryce called her again.
