I did manage to call at least once a week. Never got to talk to Connie. She sent me a couple of letters. She said how sorry she was for me and hoped I would recover as quickly as possible. She'll come to see me when I get back. I need to admit to a major disappointment. Her letters were like addressing a friend, not a brother. There wasn't any warmth in the letters.
