Chapter 7 Can't Force Him

“ Mum, Leave Harry alone. We have to respect his decision. He doesn’t want to get married and I can’t force him” She gasped. “ You can’t force him but you forced his two sisters to get married” She reminded her. “ For the last time, Mum. I didn’t force them to get married, they brought home the guys they love and demanded I married them off. They are happy in their homes” She sighed. “ Of course they are happy , that’s What all of us wants. I’m sure If it was Harry that got married, The lady would have left him by now. Anyways, he’s your son.” She Sneered. “ It’s not my fault that he doesn’t want to marry” She sighed deeply. “ But it’s your fault for always supporting him. Why can’t you stop supporting this Boy in doing Bad things once in your life? Harry has been getting all he want since he was a kid, you’ve spoilt him. I’m sure if his father is still alive, This wouldn’t be happening” Grandma shook her head. “ Mum, stop talking about His Dad” She put her hand on the wall. “ Or what?* Grandma asked her. “ You know how much I hate that man even in death. Please stop talking about him” “ If you want me to stop talking about him, then do the needful. I can’t believe you even supported him in doing this. Now see the end Result. And one more thing, Do not try anything stupid with that girl” She warned her and entered her room. “ Mum. Gosh!” She sighed and shook her head. “ Harry is the only Male child I have. He wouldn’t have make it in life if I hadn’t granted his wishes right from his young age. I’ll keep supporting my Son and always respect his decision. He’s the one to live with a wife after all and if he doesn’t want to Marry, then I won’t force him” She rolled her eyes and went to her room. It has been two weeks Since Emily ran away with Harry’s child, all search for her prove abortive. Emily has turned off her phone because she was getting a lot of calls from Harry and his Assistant, Ron. She didn’t answer any of their calls or reply to their messages. It was raining, Emily and Belle were inside Emily’s room talking about old days. The last time they saw each other was two years ago. “ So you mean you didn’t go to the university?” Belle asked her. “ How would I go? Dad retired from work and Step mum was the only one with Money. I’m even glad he sent me to the college even when step Mum objected” She sighed. “ You and your step mum. I told you not to Let that woman do whatever she wants with you but you refused to do as u had said. Now you see, It is all he fault that you fell in to this. If only she is human enough, she would have paid for the hospital bills herself” “ I don’t regret doing this” Belle was surprised as Emily said that. “ What do you mean?” She asked her Surprisingly. “ Belle, I don’t regret being the surrogate. I mean I’ve fallen in love with…. With Harry since the first day I saw him. His voice caught my heart even before I could see his face. Do you think he would even have time for you?” “ Of course he would. He loves the child and I’m sure he would love me too and care for me.” She smiled. “ So you mean you’ll go back to him if he tells you he likes you?” Belle asked. “ Yes I will” Emily smiled. “ Emily you…” She waved at her. “ Please Belle, stop trying to talk me out of this. I’m in love with Harry, I’m sure he would give me the happiness I deserves. Just pray for me and wish me luck” Belle sighed, she nodded her head and smiled at Emily. Truth be told, Emily deserves happiness and she would only get it if she found the love of her life. “ I’ll pray for you” Belle stood up. “ Thanks friend” She smiled at her. “ You are welcome. Good night” She said to Emily and then looked at Jeff who was on the bed sleeping. “ Bye Jeff, have a wonderful night” She smiled and left the room. “ Oh well, just one thing from you and I’ll return home” Emily sighed. She lay beside Jeff and closed her eyes. Next morning, Emily sat on the bed after she was done bathing and dressing Jeff. She picked up her phone from the bed and sighed. “ My phone has been off for three days now” She switched it on and rolled her eyes when she saw messages from Harry and Ron. “ Just do the needful and I’ll Return” She dropped her phone on the bed and left the room. “ Hi Belle, Good morning” Emily waved to Belle who was watching a program on the TV. “ Good morning girl. Where’s Jeff?” She asked with a spoonful of Cereals in her mouth. “ Jeff’s sleeping” She said Making her way to the kitchen. “ Alright. Do you want to go shopping later?” Belle asked and Emily paused. “ Of course I want to go. What do you want to shop for?” She asked. “ Groceries and any other thing I see”
