Chapter 8 Tracked Her Down

“ Count me in” Emily entered the kitchen and made herself a cup of tea. She came out from the kitchen but didn’t see Belle again. “ Where is she?” She sat down on the sofa and Sipped the tea. “ Your phone was ringing” Belle said showing her the phone. “ Oh, who’s calling?” she asked. “ It’s Harry” The tea in her mouth nearly came out from her nose when Harry’s name was mentioned. “ Hey easy” Belle handed her the phone. “ What does he want to say now?” She took the phone from Belle. “ He wants you to bring back his child of course” Belle rolled her eyes. “ And I won’t hand over Jeff to him if he won’t take me along” She Sneered. “ Then answer the call and hear what he would say” Emily dropped the phone Beside her but it ran again. She took in a deep breath before picking it up. “ Emily, how are you?” Came his sweet soothing Voice from the phone. “ Hi, I’m fine” Emily smiled. Belle was surprised by the way Emily was smiling, it was as if she was speaking with her Boyfriend on the phone. “ How’s My Child?” He asked her. “ He’s fine” She smiled. She gave the cup to Belle who was staring at her Surprisingly. “ Oh okay. What do you call him? I mean his name” “ I named him Jeffery, but I call him Jeff. Do you like the name?” Emily asked. “ Yes, it’s a nice name.” “ Emily” Belle whispered but Emily ignored her. The call was getting long and Belle has Started suspecting Something. She tried to call Emily’s attention but Emily wouldn’t even listen to her. “ Alright bye, we’ll talk later” Emily ended the call smiling. She hugged the phone to her chest and giggled. “ I’m in love” She Turned to Belle who was looking at her pitifully. “ Why the look?” She asked her. “ I’m just sorry for you because Harry would soon take away Jeff from you” She rolled her eyes. “ Hey stop kidding me. He won’t do that” Emily scoffed. “ You just have him the way for doing that” She chuckled. “ What way?” Emily was getting Scared. “ The call. Do you know how many minutes you spoke with him? More than Ten Minutes” “ And what’s with the call?” Emily asked. “ Use your brain, Girl. Harry is tracking you” She said and Emily’s eyes widened. “ He what!” She Exclaimed. “ Yes , he’s tracking you down.” She dropped the cup on the carpet. “ But why didn’t you tell me go stop the call” She Said Worriedly. “ I tried but you ignored me.” She stood up. “ Just prepare to hand over Jeff to Harry when he found you” She shook her head and went to the kitchen. “ Oh no, what have I done. It’s his voice” Emily hurried in to the room and closed the door. She stared at the phone in her hand unsure of what to do. --- “ You tracked it down right?” Harry asked His Assistant who was sitting on a sofa with a table in front of him. He was using a laptop to track down Emily’s location as he spoke with her. “ Yes Boss, I found her!” Ron was so excited. “ Wow! Wonderful” Harry Stood up from the bed and checked the laptop. “ Where is this?” He asked because he doesn’t understand anything in the picture. “ This is a town outside the city. It’s an hour and some minutes drive. But this house…” Harry interrupted him. “ Write it down, I don’t want you to forget it.” He handed him a pen and a book. “ Yes Boss” he took them from him. “ I’m going in now to get ready, we will be going there now” without waiting for what Ron would say, Harry went upstairs happily to get ready. “ But this house’s address isn’t clear. Anyways, I already know the province” He wrote down the name of the town and the province. “ Miss Emily, we are coming for you” He closed the lap top and stood up from the sofa. But just as he was about to pick it up, he heard a voice behind him. “ So you tracked her down” He turned and saw Grandma standing Hand akimbo. “ Grandma, Good morning” Ron greeted. “ Hold your greetings to yourself” She Sat down on the sofa looking at him. “ I… I…” Ron stammered. “ You what? I know you helped Harry tracked her down. Don’t you dare lie to me” “ I’m sorry Grandma” He apologized. Ron has always avoided the Grandma especially when he was helping Harry in doing something he doesn’t want his family to know. Grandma would make sure he say whatever it is even if he doesn’t want to. The only person that would save him was Harry if he Come out of his room and found him talking with Grandma. Ron looked at the stairs, he wished he possessed some magic that would bring out Harry from the room. “ Tell me what you are planning to do” She commanded. “ I…” He was interrupted by Harry who had just came out of the room. “ What are you still doing here?” Harry asked from the stairs. “ Thank Goodness” Ron said under his breath and heaved a sigh of relief. “ I was talking to Grandma.” Ron turned to her. “ See you later, Grandma” He hurried away. “ Weldon” Grandma clapped for Harry but he ignored her and left the sitting room. Ron was already waiting for him outside with the car. “ What did Grandma said to you?” Harry asked Ron on their way going out of the city. “ She wanted to know if we tracked miss Emily” He said and Harry shook his head.
