Once Dylan led Roselle back to the sandy part of the island, he kept her close. Surprisingly, she didn't find his presence repelling. He was incredibly kind, which made her suspicious, but she couldn't help but appreciate his generosity. Up until now, Dylan had only caused her pain, so this unexpected gentleness felt soothing. After a quick peck on her lips and forehead, he let her go. That's when Renz appeared, catching her off guard. She was curious about their coordination, as she hadn't noticed Dylan signaling Renz while he was with her.
