Mason held onto her small hands and in a mischievous tone, he whispered, “I’m only like this when I’m with you. You’ll be my lover sooner or later anyway.” Upon hearing, Janet rolled her eyes. Where did his confidence come from? How can he say such things? However, Janet no longer resisted him. Instead, she scooted over and slept near the corner of the bed. After a while, seeing that Mason had his eyes closed and was no longer touching her, Janet closed her eyes too. Looking at Janet’s peaceful face as she slept, Mason grinned.
