Chapter 80

Andrei looked towards the exit; he had an appointment pending with the cemetery, thus concluding his reflection that had lasted all afternoon, bringing a bottle of whiskey with him and two red roses from the living room. He would drink the whiskey alongside an imaginary Kirill, perhaps to apologize for pushing him out of his mind so quickly and for not doing what was necessary, but he needed to let him know that he could no longer change anything; and the roses were for his parents to make amends for never bringing them anything.
