Chapter 23 Last Act For The Camera

The day came when Anna would put on her last act. Tony still did not mutter a word of apology to her or explain his actions yet he somehow expected her to play along with his façade. Stella entered while Anna was in her room, highly strung on her thoughts. Stella had been a beam of light over the past few days, excited to plan her wedding she couldn't stop bragging about. Of course, Anna was happy for her friend- it was the best news she'd heard since Tony’s reentry into her life.
