I had forgotten what newborns were like. It was a good thing that the girls had another month before school started - because it took all four of us to manage the two newest members of our household. I was sure that we'd forget our promises before too long - but we were all so worn out that the girls were vowing never to be pregnant at the same time again. Both girls tried breastfeeding and I'm happy to report that I swallowed more than one mouthful of their momma's milk - although I was not nearly as greedy as my children were.
