A hush of silence hung over us as we waited for fate to happen. We had spent just twenty four hours in police custody and I wondered what fate had in store for us. Eva had summoned up courage to move on with her life after the divorce and I had kept to my silence pondering how I was going to cope after divorce without the missing trust funds.
