Chapter 5 Is this the narrow road of enemies?
Yan Mian sat in the car arranged by the dean and arrived at Crescent Bay, pushing the door open.
As soon as she looked up, she caught sight of the broad and sturdy figure on the sofa.
Without anyone introducing him, she naturally knew that the man in the main seat was the helm of the Bo family.
"Mr. Bo, hello, I am..."
Before she could finish her sentence, all voices abruptly stopped.
The man turned around...
Him!
Surprise flashed in Yan Mian's eyes for a moment. Ah, is this the narrow road of enemies?
Bo Jingyan's brows furrowed slightly, his expression cold and distant.
"Shen Feng, call Chenchen downstairs," he said, his thin lips slightly parted, his tone filled with a chilling coldness.
He had seen too many women with such astonished expressions, and he didn't like it.
"Yes, Master Bo."
Yan Mian clenched her hand hidden in her sleeve fiercely, her fingertips digging into her flesh as she gritted her teeth.
Three minutes later, footsteps could be heard at the staircase.
Soon after, the impatient voice of the little one came first, "Daddy, I don't want to have a check-up."
Every month, it was a routine check-up. How annoying!
Bo Jingyan's face remained cold and silent, which was already the answer.
The little one's face turned cold, and his gaze shifted.
Yan Mian also looked towards the staircase, and their eyes met.
Her heart skipped a beat, and she saw him wearing a mini version of Bo Jingyan's suit, with chubby cheeks that were rosy and tender.
Although he was young, she could already imagine what a captivating young man he would become in a few decades.
Most importantly, his eyebrows and eyes resembled hers!
The little one was equally surprised and subconsciously touched his brow bone.
He walked down slowly and stood in front of her.
An indescribable feeling surged in Yan Mian's heart, and she managed to utter a word.
"You..."
Bo Jingyan sensed the strange atmosphere and let his gaze wander between the two.
He hadn't paid much attention earlier, but now he noticed that Chenchen looked remarkably similar to the woman in front of him!
A glimmer flashed in his eyes, and after a silence of more than ten seconds, he was the first to speak.
"Check-up."
Yan Mian was startled by his cold tone and quickly placed the medical kit on the table.
"Chenchen, right? Come to Auntie's side," she beckoned to him, her tone involuntarily gentle.
Bo Chen's brow furrowed, he didn't like Yan Mian's overly doting tone.
He wasn't a child!
But... looking at the woman's gentle expression, his anger inexplicably subsided.
He coughed lightly and obediently sat down, feeling somewhat awkward.
From up close, Yan Mian looked at the angelic face of the little boy in front of her and genuinely liked him from the bottom of her heart.
She couldn't help but reach out and rub his head, sweetly saying, "You're such a good boy~"
However, the little one suddenly stiffened, and his face instantly turned dark.
A cold air filled the surroundings, causing her to shiver.
Shen Feng couldn't help but exclaim, "Miss Yan!"
Yan Mian blinked, feeling puzzled. What happened? Did she do something wrong?
Shen Feng hurriedly approached, unable to touch Yan Mian, and said in a low voice, "Quickly apologize to Young Master!"
Apologize?
Why?
Shen Feng clicked his tongue and whispered, "Young Master doesn't like others touching his head!"
There's a saying, you can't touch the hair on a lion's head.
The young master inherited all of Master Bo's genes and hates being treated like a child.
Yan Mian was somewhat astonished, seeing that Chenchen's complexion was indeed not good.
She felt apologetic and said, "I'm sorry, Auntie didn't know about this..."
Chenchen's face remained cold, his arms crossed, looking like a mature adult.
The surroundings remained silent, and Shen Feng's forehead began to sweat.
He guessed that Yan Mian would be kicked out.
Definitely! The young master had previously dismissed dozens of personal caretakers for such reasons!
He was prepared for the next second, but then he heard the little one snort in a spoiled manner.
"Woman, there better not be a next time, got it?"
