Alessandro’s conscience had scolded him countless times for being reckless in making decisions. But ultimately, he found himself standing in front of his newly acquired mansion where Mia was working on the interiors. Though he had refused to come and had ordered her to make the final decisions on her own, he couldn't stop himself from going there when Mia’s silence made him restless. He entered the mansion and found it strangely silent, no one working there. Glancing around, he walked further inside, the emptiness echoing his every step. He searched every room but found no one. Finally, he opened the master bedroom designated for him and his wife. There, he found Mia engrossed in her work, a notebook in hand as she scribbled something on it.
