Suddenly, Adam’s phone rang, pulling Claire's attention briefly toward the sound. Adam, however, grabbed her chin and kissed her again, bringing her focus back to him. The phone stopped ringing after a moment, but soon it rang again. Adam groaned, realizing it was time to start his day. Claire smiled and caressed his face gently. “Take it,” she whispered, and Adam took her hand from his cheek, pressing a soft kiss to the inside of her palm. Claire giggled, adding, “It might be Amelia.”
