Chapter 276 Sleepwalking

Adam returned home after midnight. The house was silent and dark. He assumed Claire might be asleep. He made his way to the bedroom, expecting to find her there, but she wasn’t. Disappointment washed over him. He then headed to the guest room Claire had been using. Without knocking, he pushed the door open and found her asleep inside. He wasn’t pleased to see her sleeping there. Although it had been their arrangement to sleep in separate rooms, something about it suddenly felt wrong, and he realized he wanted her to be in his bedroom instead.
