“I need to protect the club. I will fight those people to the end.” A peculiar look flashed in Renee's eyes. Lucius knew it was a mix of resentment and hatred. “Last night, they already issued me an ultimatum,” Renee said, “If I don't hand over the club within three days, they told me to prepare for my own funeral, to meet my father in the afterlife.” She took a deep breath before adding, “They have nothing to lose. If they're bold enough to utter such threats, they're certainly capable of acting on them.”
