Karson let out a cold laugh. “Ms. Quixley, one should always have proof before making accusations. Your father's death was a car accident, merely a tragic mishap.” He paused for a moment before continuing, “As for your claim of me treating you ruthlessly, that's a bit extreme, don't you think?
