Chapter 5 The Uniform

Tatiana Sebastian looked desperate, his hair disheveled as if he had run his hand through it several times, and I noticed that his eyes were almost bulging as he looked at me. I started to take a few steps back, while he advanced towards me. I didn't know what to do, I could hear him breathing heavily and suddenly I remembered that werewolves were dangerous creatures. My body was telling me, I was scared. And when my back hit the edge of the sinks, my breathing became erratic. "What... what are you doing here?... this is the bathroom of..." "What the hell are you wearing?" he asked, almost through gritted teeth. He looked incredibly tense as if he was trying to repress something. I had no doubt that it was hatred and disgust. "I... " I started to say, but the words got stuck in my throat, and I felt a strange wave of terror when I saw him approaching me and leaning in. I wanted to run away like in those cartoons, where the character's body leaves a mark on the wall. But I think panic prevented me from moving, I almost didn't breathe as Sebastian got closer and closer to me, placing his hands on the edge of the sinks, and bringing his face close to my neck. I thought he was going to whisper something to me, possibly something unpleasant, but no words came out, instead I heard his erratic breathing, and felt the tip of his nose lightly on my skin. I placed my hands in front of me trying to protect myself, and when I involuntarily moved away, Sebastian seemed to realize and reacted. "Answer me, why are you wearing that outfit?" he practically demanded. "It's my uniform..." "You can't go out like that... no way," he said firmly and I looked at him, lost. He scrutinized me, especially my chest which barely fit in the shirt, tight in this uniform that wasn't my size. Suddenly, he sighed as if he had made a decision. And what he did next... was even stranger than everything that had happened in the last few seconds. I practically saw in slow motion as he took off his jacket and then unbuttoned his shirt with precision. Now I didn't know what to think, there was no logical reason for this alpha who hated me so much to be... undressing in front of me in this bathroom. I could see his tattoos, his perfect and bronzed skin, some scars, and he was perfect. His arms had veins protruding, his muscles defined, his wolf tattoos and other figures. He was tall and I had his chest almost in front of me. And I could say, with all certainty, that he was an incredible specimen. And when he finished, he observed me, his shirt open and a t-shirt underneath. What were this man's intentions? "Take off your shirt," he simply said. "Excuse me?" I asked, scandalized. "I told you to take off your shirt..." he said with an authoritative voice. Did he want me to... undress? Did he want to make fun of me? "I didn't..." I said, feeling the annoyance growing inside me. "The shirt doesn't fit you, I told you not to go out like that..." he said, and I could hear him growl. "It's my uniform and I..." I started to say when I saw his hands quickly going to the collar of my shirt, I started pushing his hands away, but in seconds he had pulled the fabric, ripping my shirt open, buttons flying everywhere. "What the hell?" I yelled, feeling my face turning red. Quickly, I covered my body with my arms as the pieces of the shirt literally fell off. I stood there like a fool, completely exposed and half-naked in my underwear. I felt cold and my body trembled as he watched me. I felt like crying. He didn't take his eyes off me, detailing me, while I covered my chest and abdomen as best as I could. "Why...?" I asked, almost stuttering, looking back into his eyes. He didn't answer, but instead took off his shirt, placed a hand on my arms, and helped me put it on while I did everything I could to hide my body. Then he buttoned it up with trembling fingers, never taking his eyes off me, until the last button of the shirt, as if he didn't want anything of me to be seen. I could feel the heat radiating from his body and a scent I couldn't describe. His shirt was big and practically looked like a dress on me, and when he proceeded to unzip my skirt, I panicked, he was crossing a line I wasn't willing to. "Leave me alone!" I yelled and he looked at me surprised, but went back to my skirt, and now I was hitting his hands. "I'm just trying to help you!" he said, practically offended. "I don't need your help!" I shouted. He seemed to be annoyed, but still determined. He practically held me while he slightly unzipped my skirt and I could feel his hands tucking the shirt in. I struggled, fighting with him, feeling his hands on my hips and slightly on my legs, until he readjusted the skirt. I didn't even need to look in the mirror to know that his shirt was definitely big enough to cover me well, and that it even covered more than my skirt. I was... properly dressed, better than my uniform. I looked at him and he stayed there again, watching me without saying anything. "Why did you come here?" I asked, and I saw him swallow, he seemed to want to tell me something, but couldn't find the words. And I... wanted to be as far away from him as possible and had many things to do, including attending to him and his alpha friends as if they were princes. "This is the women's bathroom... you shouldn't be here," I said, but he didn't move, he seemed bolted to the floor. As he took a step back, I moved and approached the door. And I was able to breathe when I left and he wasn't coming behind me. What the hell happened a moment ago? I had his shirt... there as if nothing, why would I do that? I practically hyperventilated as I reached the kitchen and didn't even have time to catch my breath. - Tati! You need more help at the tables... - Mariela told me. I decided it was best to get to work. I spent some time going back and forth delivering things to the tables, but I felt my knees shaking when I approached his table. Sebastian was sitting right next to Alpha Marco, and other alphas. I tried to calm down as much as I could, but the situation in the bathroom had left me on edge. As I approached them, they all tensed up and looked at me. - These humans really are useless... - I heard Marco say, and now my hands were shaking as I placed the plates, so much so that when I placed Sebastian's plate, it hit the table. I was amazed when I saw his hand close around my wrist, giving me stability. I suppose he didn't want to be embarrassed in front of the other alphas if I made a mistake at this moment. -Thank you... - said a lone Alpha with long hair and a tough look, and I couldn't even respond due to the nerves I had. Everyone on the restaurant team was anxious, but I was the only one who knew what they were: dangerous, volatile, and lethal creatures. And I thought the incidents were over, but shortly after, Marco blatantly knocked over some glasses. -You're so clumsy, human... you should serve us better... maybe you can't even move - he said, and I heard some growls. I got down on the floor, carefully picking up the pieces of glass so no one would get hurt. As I picked one up, I cut myself, and when I stood up, Sebastian had a look as if he regretted what had happened. But neither he nor anyone else had done anything to prevent it. As always. -Well... that was strange. I must say they are very attractive, but quite rude - Mariela said with a sigh. -Did they do something to you? - I asked worriedly as we changed clothes in our bathroom. -No... they just complained about the service a couple of times, but where else could they go? - she said with a smile, and I was grateful that it seemed like I was the only one they had really treated badly. We said goodbye, and as I was putting things away, I realized I had his shirt. I couldn't help it and brought it to my nose. It had a fantastic smell... I don't know what perfume it was, but it was incredible. It was already late when I was leaving and I noticed that the alphas had stayed in a room that we sometimes used for private events. And I didn't want to approach, but I still heard from afar. -I see you had a reunion with the stupid human who ruined your pack - a malicious voice said, and I was petrified. -Yes, I suppose she moved here - I heard Sebastian's voice. "If she had been in my pack, the Razzio... would already be dead," Marco said, listening to growls. "Each pack is independent and decides what they believe is best," I heard another Alpha's voice, which seemed to be the one with long hair, thanking me. I heard some snorts and then silence. But Marco was speaking again, seeming to want to insist on talking about me. "Was it my imagination or did the chubby girl smell like you?" "I... she asked me for help and that's why my scent remained," Sebastian said. "She seems quite clumsy. But well, it's better to worry less about humans, we have more important issues like the rouge attack and attending the Council, don't you think?" Marco said as I walked away. I was about to walk home when I heard a voice. "Tati..." and when I turned around, it was Sebastian.
