Chapter 7 Lucky Day
"You're just a simple human, but... I must say you've improved with time. Let's just say werewolves... aren't as generous... or have as much to grab onto," he said, placing a hand on my hip and I was petrified. I placed my hands on his chest and pushed him away, and he laughed as we suddenly heard a voice.
"Tatiana... Everything okay? I need you over here," Gaby said, clearly noticing that this man was bothering me.
"I'm coming..." I said, taking the opportunity to move away from Marco, and I heard him laughing behind me.
"Those men... I hope they leave soon. Be careful Tati and keep an eye on the girls," he told me, not leaving me alone now.
"Oh my god, if I thought these men looked good, well... now they look even better..." Mariela said, blushing, looking at the muscular men in their slightly more formal attire.
"Mariela, promise me you won't get involved with these men..." I said to her, looking at her, almost pleading.
"Why? What's wrong?"
"Uhhh you know... powerful men... generally, men like that don't care about others... especially women," I said, now nervous.
"You know something, don't you? I know you, tell me the truth," she said, very serious.
Sure, I'll tell her they're supernatural beings who hate brothers and could kill him with one blow.
"I just know that... my brothers work with one of them and he's told me some... strange things... okay?" I say, and it seems I convince her.
"Okay... you might be right. They probably just want to make fun of small-town girls like us," she says, sighing.
"Although it's a real shame... those men seem to be... werewolves," she says, and I am petrified.
"What?"
"You know! Those werewolf stories... very sexy and wild alphas," she says, biting her lip.
"You read those stories?" I ask, and she nods, looking a bit embarrassed.
"Occasionally... they're quite... hot. And let me tell you right now... if those men existed... they would be just like these businessmen. Especially that dark-haired hunk who can't take his eyes off you," she says, and when I turn around, I see it's Sebastian.
The party seems to be entertaining for everyone, and as I go to take out the trash... I feel someone following me. As usual, it's Sebastian.
Now I can see up close that he's dressed exquisitely, with a dark shirt that seems like it's glued to his body and jeans that look tailor-made. He looks so good that I don't want to look at him, he was a sexy teenager and now he's just unbearable.
Great, it seems like today is my lucky day where several alphas have attacked me.
"What do you want now?" I ask, throwing the trash in the bin and seeing him sigh.
"Why do you smell like Alpha mark?" he asks angrily. I can see his Beta David standing by his side like a shadow.
"It's none of your business," I reply, about to go back inside when he stands in the middle of the door.
"What are you doing?" I ask, and he seems to be searching for the right words.
"You shouldn't get close to alphas... or anyone else," he says, and I don't understand what he means.
"Do you think I approached him? That I was looking for him?" I ask, and he changes his attitude, now looking worried. This man is truly an enigma.
"Did he do something to you? Did he hurt you?"
"It's none of your concern... let me pass..."
"Just tell me, Tatiana... please..." he says, taking my wrist and pulling me closer to him. His desperate look confuses me even more.
"What are you doing? Let me go!" I say, but the pressure on my wrist grows stronger.
"You shouldn't get close to any Alpha, do you understand?"
"Believe me, I know that none of you bring anything good... now let me go, you're hurting me!" I say, struggling with him, and he immediately lets go, looking at me with anguish. I leave, holding my hand, pressing my fingers and wrist to relieve the pain.
"Beast..." I whisper, but I'm sure he hears me.
"Thank you very much, Tati... you did a great job," Gaby says, saying goodbye to us.
"Any plans for the weekend?" Mariela asks as we say goodbye.
"I'll be with my brothers and I also have a... date tomorrow," I say, unable to hide my smile.
"Good luck, that's my girl!" she says happily, and I subtly hear a growl. In the distance, I see Sebastian looking at me with hatred.
