Chapter 1778 Things Weren’t Looking Good

Even if Sally and Simon didn’t care about Bryce, there was still a human being locked up in the basement, yet they seemed to show no concern for the matter. Ian didn’t feel like he had any means of evaluating both of them. Sally and Simon had been pampered ever since they were born, so they were naturally individuals who were a little more selfish. At the very least, Sally had visited Ian to beg for his forgiveness, but Simon hadn’t done a single thing. Perhaps he’s too afraid to do anything, Ian figured. After the previous fights, Bryce altered his will to reduce the inheritance that Sally and Simon were to receive. Perhaps they’re afraid that their names might be erased off the will if they were to make Bryce angry again. Well… I can see where they’re coming from, but I don’t really understand how they can do such a thing. Although we’re often taught to put ourselves first, I don’t think the same rule applies when the other party involved is your mom. They can’t possibly think that money is more important than a person’s life, right?
