No big deal.” She then told Joseph, “Mr. Ronald, give this to Miss Bailey.” The color drained from Isabelle’s face. They might be talking about the dress, but she knew what Sophia was saying. Of course, Mrs. Bailey knew it too, so she frowned. “What do you mean ‘give it to her’? It’s not yours to begin with. Know your place. Taking what’s not yours never ends well. See?
