Chapter 2008 Fuming

So, it would make sense if Gary was displeased with her. I can see why he would be mad at me, Cindy thought anxiously. After contemplating for a while more, she gave Ian a call. She wanted to ask Ian how he had confronted Gary. Ian might have been angry, and he might have said some nasty words to Gary. As she waited for the call to get through, she let out a long sigh. It feels like these matters never come to an end. An issue surfaces whenever another one is resolved. When the call got through, it wasn't Ian who picked up the call. Instead, it was Ian's driver, who explained that Ian was in the midst of a shoot and couldn't speak on the phone.
