Chapter 3

When night came, Rhea stepped out of her room and ventured on foot. Once the workday ended, the omegas had the freedom to leave. As she walked, she noticed the pups enjoying their time with their parents in the park. She found herself smiling at the sight. It would have been wonderful to share her childhood with her parents and family; sadly, she only had short moment with them. After her parents were killed, her adoptive parents hate her, they trow her out then Rhea ended in an orphanage where she spent her most life. She strolled with a basket in hand filled with fresh bread and an assortment of jams. When wut of nowhere, hand gripped her shoulder from behind, spinning her around with a swift motion. Rhea gasped in surprise as she glanced up at the man, a playful grin dancing on his lips. "Where are you going?" The man inquired, his voice low and menacing. Rhea stepped back. Her adoptive parents had a son, Leon, who was three years older. "Hi Rhea, do you miss me?" "Leon? I-I plan to go to my friend's place since she's sick. want to bring her this food,” Rhea answered. She dont want any conflict with him. She was about to walking away when Leon intercepted her path, and he positioned himself directly in front of her. He smiled even more broadly at her somewhat apprehensive look. “Leon, please let me go. Why do you keep bothering me?" She had no clue what he want from her. “Do you ever think about me, little sister? So, you've found your own happiness out there and completely forget me?" There's sharp scent of alcohol wafting from him, and Rhea could effortlessly guess what place he had visited. Leon's tousled brown hair gave him a slightly chaotic appearance as he stumbled forward. "You should be glad now i can support myself and not being burden to anyone" Rhea replied, her voice steady, though her lips quivered slightly. Leon burst into a hearty laugh. He leaned towards her petite figure "I heard you're at Alpha Killian Manor now, is that true? It seems like you've quite a bit of wealth now. Now little sister, fulfill your promise to me!" He began to explore her body, searching for pockets. Rhea propelled his body with such force that he stumbled backward. "Leon! Stop it! I don't have what you want." She didn't bring the money he requested, and her response left him feeling quite dissatisfied. Leon enraged as he failed to find what he want, the man contorted her arm until the basket of food tumbled down. And he pulled her to a secluded and shadowy spot beneath a tree. “Let me go! Let me go!" He quieted her cries with a sharp slap to her right cheek, causing her head to turn. Her ears buzzed from the sharpness of the slap. "Now you have the audacity to lie to me," he whispered sharply in her ear. "Have you forgotten who has been providing for you and offering you shelter when you were kid?!" He took hold of the hair at the nape of her neck, compelling Rhea to meet his gaze. Her lips quivered, and a trace of blood marked the corner.“ “IIt hurts, Leon," she said, pressing her palm against her throbbing cheek. Perhaps if she ceased to resist, he might release her sooner. "I don't have the money you're asking for." She responded, "I'll get it to you as soon as I have it." But Rhea was mistaken; Leon had no plans of releasing her. He tightened his grip on her hair, eliciting a sob of pain from her lips. "You’re lying again bitch; it has to be around here somewhere. I'll take a look at it myself. Now, remove all your clothing!" Rhea shook her head, She held the fabric around her chest firmly. The stillness enveloped the space, with no one around for her to turn to for help. If she let out a cry, maybe someone would hear her. Rhea was on the verge of speaking when Leon pressed his mouth against hers, muffling her words. "You naughty little slut. Do you really believe someone will come to help you huh" He bebded her body, guiding her into a half-kneel. Rhea closed her eyes, a wave of familiarity washing over her as she recalled the times Leon had placed her in this very situation. She shut her eyes, clenching her jaw to suppress the pain. This time he relied on his own hands; previously, he had even resorted to wood or other materials that would leave marks. Rgea experienced such overwhelming dizziness that it was impossible to count how many blows struck the back of her head. “Take it! Your consequence for having the audacity to lie to me!" He let out a low growl before his hand found its way back to her head, but then his body was abruptly yanked away. His hold on Rhea faltered, leaving no moment for him to proceed as a powerful punch struck his jaw. He crashed against the tree trunk and fell to the ground. A tall figure moved toward Rhea's body on the ground. The man cradled her body in his arms. Killian brushed her hair aside, noticing the mark on her cheeks and the blood at the edge of her lips, as his anger began to swell within him. He cast a quick look at Leon, who stood still, poised to strike. But she whispered something that resembled a soft expression of discomfort, her eyes shut firmly. Killian wrapped his arms around her, take her back to the manor.
