*Isabel* I went back to my food, willing to take down as much as possible. It wasn't that Louisa didn't bring enough food in her trolley, but she had never brought this much. "About the rogue..." My mood instantly dampened. I should have known he'd had something up his sleeve. Had I really thought he'd suddenly decided to be thoughtful? That he'd had a change of heart about me? My appetite immediately disappeared. "I need to know how you had managed to take him down despite being so weak." I bit the inside of my cheek, eyeing the dinner knife on the table.
