Dante Isabel noticed me reaching for something behind her and slowly turned in my arms. Her eyes showed her confusion as we both sat up. "This doesn't belong to either of us," I whispered, stating the obvious. I looked to her for confirmation, just in case I was wrong and she had picked up jewelry from somewhere at some point.
