*Dante* Every eye was on us as we approached the pack members, taking in the mark that now tied us together. Henry stepped forward, his voice loud over the clearing. "It is time for the final rite of the mating ceremony." He announced. “When the signal is given, the chase begins. If any of you believe this union is unworthy, now is your chance to stop it. If they return mated before the full moon goes down, their union stands. If not, it doesn't." The pack whispered between themselves as Henry gave the go-ahead for us to shift. Isabel and I inhaled steadying breaths, already knowing how the pack members would react. Just as I thought, their surprised gasps and murmurs filled the air at her white wolf. Literally everyone was surprised since they were seeing her wolf for the first time.
