*Isabel* I made my way to the changing room, desperate to head back to the pack house after a long day of work. I stuffed my hairnet and apron into the cramped space of my locker, twisting the lock into place. I picked up the small bag I came to work with, slinging the strap over my shoulder. Cora bounded into the changing room just as I was about to leave. Julia had given her some extra tasks as punishment for arriving late to work that morning. She ran her gaze over my clothes, realizing I'd already checked out. I knew she wouldn't mind that I hadn't planned on waiting for her.
