*Dante* I arrived at the house a few hours later, walking right to Isabel's room. I told myself it was only to see what she was up to but the truth lay buried deep inside; I couldn't deal with how much I wanted to lay my eyes on her. I opened the door noiselessly, but barely, taking a peek through the crack between the door and the door still. She was sitting by the window, her eyes focused on a blank spot. I didn’t knock, just stepped in. Her head turned up as soon as she sensed me. Her eyes met mine. "You’re meeting the council today." I informed her. "Get ready."
